Mario Kart 8

Hello my video game playing friends. This week game is Mario Kart 8. That’s right, the racing that to can race upside down or sideways.

Grand Prix: 50cc

Special Cup:

Character: Mario

Kart: I build my kart with the Standard ATV. I choose the Monster Wheels. And I choose the Super Glider to go flying.

1st Race: Cloudtop Cruise: In this race, there’s flying Koopa Troopas, Bowser’s flying ships, vines, storms and clouds, lots of clouds. This race reminds me of the game Super Mario Galaxy, even the music sounds like one. Okay, when the race has begun, I move to 4th place when I cross the line. Next I bop into Peach and then I got an item box and I got a red shell. That’s right. I have a red shell with Princess Peach name on it. I was going to catch up to Bowser in his flying ship, but the only item I have is the coin. When I’m in the lead, I fly to a racing track like ship that is inside a thunderstorm. Then I was going to the first speeding platform, but I missed it. I glad I missed because I was about to get hit by a lighting. I was going really fast because I was going through some speeding platforms. I grab an item box and jump out the ship. I got a coin again and landed on a giant vine. Why there is a giant vines in the sky? Then I finish the first lap. Then I grab another item box and got a banana peel. I rather use the banana to protect me from item I about to hit me in the back instead of dropping it. Then I fly back to the flying track that’s in the storm. Seriously, who races through a thunderstorm that the track and karts are made of metal. Then I got a red shell, that I also use it for protection. I finish the second lap and I accidently throw it to the front, I hope the next idea will give me a shell or banana. I did have a super horn, but I wasted because the barrel is in my way. When I got to the storm, I almost go to the lighting because I was going too fast. Then I got a banana peel and I drop before I go through a finish line. And I’m in first.

2nd Race: Bone-Dry Dunes: In this race, I’m in a desert full of skeletons. When the race has begun, I grab an item box and got a coin. When I go faster, I was going through the speeding platform. But, I can’t because I slow down and the speeding platform is around the sand and the sand will slow me down. Next I got another item box and I got the coin again. Then I drive sideways and go through the ribs. I fly into a cave that looks like Dry Bowser and I missed an upper track. When I about to get out the cave, I got hit by a spiky blue shell that only hits the person who’s in 1st place. I glad nobody passes me when I was going to second lap. I got a green shell and I waste it because I was jumping on a ramp. Well, I glad I got another item box, but I got a coin again. Seriously, why they keep giving coins that I already have 10 coins? Then I drive sideways again and bump into some cones. Every time I bump into those anti- gravity cones, I go faster. When I go out the cave, I got spread by the squid. Well, jokes on him, I still can see and got to the finally lap. Then I got a green shell and I missed some coins the Toads are throwing at me. Then there is a red shell about to hit and I use the shell I have. This is why I need the bananas and shell to protect me. Then I lost 3 coins because a skeleton piranha plant bit me. Plus, I didn’t know there is a dry piranha plants in the Mario games. Then I got a banana peel and I use it to hit the red shell. And finally I won in this race.

Okay, I think this is it for this blog today. Next week, the race for the Special Cup will be continuing. I think it’s time to take a nap, not really. And now, Ready, Set, Go…to sleep.
